DESCRIPTION:

WANRack, LLC is seeking an entry level Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing company. This role will report to the President, Business Development and work onsite, primarily in the Overland Park, KS office. This candidate will be responsible for prospecting and selling WANRack E-Rate Services. Previous sales experience is a plus but not required. To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each role and responsibility proficiently.

This is a quota driven sales position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for growing WANRack’s presence and market share within the K12 E-Rate customer segment in line with meeting sales expectations

  • Contact new and existing business by phone, email and traveling for in-person meetings

  • Track all lead activity using Company CRM software

  • Conforms with all legal and legislative regulations pertaining to the E-Rate process

  • Knowledge of telecommunications solutions provided by WANRack and competitors

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with select business partners and resources.

  • Drafting proposals in respond to government bid requests

  • Complete other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required

  • Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Understand and interpret technical and complex documents

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Proven ability to interact and influence effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite

  • Portrays strong communication skills, both written and verbal


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an office environment.

Compensation:

  • On Target Earnings $80,000 - $85,000

  • Base $45,000- $50,000

  • No cap on commissions
