TODD BARFIELD

Meet Todd Barfield, WANRack's Chief Legal Officer. Todd is a proud lifelong resident of Kansas City with over 25 years of experience advising public and privately held companies on transactional and corporate law matters. He began his career in private practice working for the law firms of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP, Dentons and Lathrop GPM. In 2002, he moved in-house with Sprint Corporation, where he most recently served as Senior M&A counsel on some of the most transformative transactions in the wireless industry prior to Sprint's successful sale to T-Mobile in 2020.

Todd is a great asset to the WANRack team. Since joining the team in June of 2021, he has been a strategist and a catalyst for providing our team with guidance and solutions that drive growth! Todd's favorite part about WANRack is the healthy balance of a vigorous entrepreneurial spirit with the resources to pursue strategic objectives actively.

Todd earned his Juris Doctorate degree, with highest honors, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He was Articles Editor of the UMKC Law Review and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Three Things You Should Know About Todd:

1) How do you enjoy spending your time when not at work?

Cycling (primarily road and gravel) and golf.

2) Best piece of advice you have ever received?

A mentor at my first law firm told me never to start with a blank sheet of paper when drafting a legal document. Instead, always have some precedent as a guide.

3) Stranded on an island, and you get to take three things with you... what are they and why?

My wife, a bike, and of course, a reliable and high-speed broadband connection.
